Dr. Jared Danielson (Folsom and Elk Grove)
Dr. Danielson received his D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He went on to complete a two year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University for which he was awarded with a specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry. Over the years Dr. Danielson has received many awards and accolades including: Louise G Ball Leadership Award; Charles Jr. and Joe Sweet Award for Excellence in Dentistry for Children; and the Warren Family Endowment Award for Outstanding Care for Children. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Danielson is excited to announce the opening of our newest office: Kids Care Dental Group of Folsom. He welcomes everyone to come see the new office. He is thrilled to be able to serve the young people in the greater Folsom area. Dr. Danielson is a native to California and currently lives in El Dorado Hills. He has many interests including camping, anything sports related, “cruising” around town on his old motorcycle, and spending time with his wife children. Dr Danielson and his wife enjoy two young daughters and recently celebrated the birth of their new baby boy.


Dr. Patrick Creevan (Stockton)
Dr. Creevan received his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2000. He went on to complete a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Boston and a clinical fellowship at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in 2002. Dr. Creevan has worked with Kids Care since Dencember of 2002 and is very excited to be a part of the Stockton office. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southern Alameda County Dental Society and the San Joaquin Dental Society. He grew up in Livermore California and now continues to reside in the Bay Area. As a specialist in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Creevan's main objective is to provide quality dental care in a manner and environment that allows children to have a positive dental experience, encouraging them to continue seeking dental care as an adult. When not in the office, Dr. Creevan enjoys camping and boating.
 

Dr. Warren McWilliams III (Surgery Center)
Dr. McWilliams attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where he received his BS in biology in 1982. He went on to receive his DDS degree from the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry in 1986. Shortly thereafter Dr. McWilliams joined the staff of Kids Care Dental Group and he has been part of our practice ever since. Dr. McWilliams also maintains a private general dentistry practice in Carmichael. Approximately fifteen years ago, Dr. McWilliams was responsible for much of the pioneering and instituting of pediatric hospital dentistry into our practice. Although he is rarely in the office anymore, Dr. McWilliams cares for a significant number of our children who require that their treatment be completed in the hospital setting. Dr. McWilliams has dedicated a great deal of his career and his continuing dental education to the delivery of pediatric hospital dentistry. “Treating very young and often times very apprehensive children has become one of the most rewarding professional experiences of my career.” Dr. McWilliams is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. McWilliams is a native to Sacramento; he loves the game of golf and plays it every chance he gets. He also enjoys travel, following the Kings, and spending time with his wife Lynda and daughter Shannon.

Dr. Kimberly Fong (Elk Grove)
Dr Fong attended the University of California at Los Angeles for her undergraduate education before going to the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco to receive her DDS degree in 2005. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society. Dr Fong’s father is also a dentist in the Sacramento area which makes her especially fond of our region. She loves working at the Elk Grove office and meeting new patients and their families. When she is not seeing patients, Dr Fong loves to travel, cook, and spend time with her family and friends.
 

Dr. Aaron Reeves (Elk Grove and Greenback)
Dr Reeves grew up locally in the Sacramento area. He graduated from Ponderosa High School in 1991 and began his undergraduate education at Sacramento City College before going on to the University of New Mexico. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Dr Reeves went to the University Of Florida School Of Dentistry where he received various academic scholarships and recognitions. He has been with the practice since December of 2000 and is very excited about the success of the practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Sacramento District Dental Society, and the San Joaquin Dental Society. He loves getting out and playing any sport (golf in particular) and spending time with his family. His newest passion is his role as coach of the varsity wrestling team at Jesuit High School.


Dr. Samantha Lee (Sacramento and Greenback)
Dr Lee attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate education before going to the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco where she received her DDS degree in 2004. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society, and the Women’s Dental Society. Dr Lee loves working at the Children’s Dental Center’s Sacramento office and brags that “we have the best team ever”. She is an avid reader and loves drawing, sketching, gold and spending time with her family.

Dr. H. Scott Thompson (Elk Grove)
Dr Thompson received his DDS degree from the University of California at San Francisco in 1970. He went on to complete a residency program for which he was awarded a certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of California at San Francisco in 1974. He is the co developer of “5th Quarter”, a student driven study club at UCSF, and a cofounder of a number of different professional study clubs (Pediatric Dental Study Club and Mixed Specialty Orthodontic Study Club). Dr Thompson is an integral part of the culture at both offices. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Sacramento District Dental Society. Dr. Thompson chose to work with us because, “I like working in a family oriented environment where parents are allowed and involved in the dental health learning process. We can show families simply that cavities can be prevented at home.” When not in the office, Dr Thompson loves to take advantage of the great outdoors (camping, mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, snow boarding, boating, etc) and spending time with his family. He is a lover of music and stage productions.

Dr. Maryam Saleh ( Elk Grove and Greenback)
Dr Saleh attended Pennsylvania State University for her undergraduate education before going on to New York University College of Dentistry to receive her DDS degree. While attending NYU, she received General Practice Residency Honors in Bronx, New York. After graduation she completed a general practice residency program at University Medical Center in Fresno, California. Dr Saleh is very active in the dental community and continuing education. She has taken over 250 hours of continuing education courses and is a member of the American and California Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society, the Smiles for Kids Program, the Sacramento Women’s Dental Group and the Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys working at Kids Care Dental Group with the friendly and helpful staff and loves treating children of all ages. When away for the office, Dr Saleh loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
 

Dr. Gerald Fillmore - Orthodontist (Stockton)
Dr. Fillmore is a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He graduated with a DDS degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1971. He went on to teach pedodontic techniques and was also a clinical instructor at the dental school. He completed his orthodontic training at Loma Linda, where he received is Masters of Science in Orthodontics in 1973. He has been in the private practice of Orthodontics in Northern California since 1973, working hard to beautify smiles and improve function for thousands of children and adults. Dr Fillmore is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Northern California Dental Society. When not seeing patients, Dr Fillmore spends time with his wife and family at his walnut ranch just north of Yuba City. He enjoys, gardening, working around the ranch, water and snow skiing, as well as traveling.

Dr. Damon Szymanowski- Orthodontist (Sacramento and Greenback)
Dr. Szymanowski specializes in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2003 and completed his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. A native of Sacramento, Dr. Szymanowski worked in a private orthodontic practice in New York before moving back to the area with his wife, Alison Juozokas M.D., a family physician with Sutter Medical Group in Elk Grove. Since 2003, Dr. Szymanowski has strived to beautify smiles and improve dental function for hundreds of children and adults. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, and the Sacramento District Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Szymanowski loves to be outdoors; he is an avid snowboarder and swimmer and has recently taken up golf.

Dr. Jose Juarez (Stockton and Sacramento)  
Dr. Juarez attended San Francisco State University for his undergraduate education while achieving a Bachelors of Science in Physiology and a minor in Chemistry in 2001. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, he entered the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco to receive his DDS degree in 2005. Dr. Juarez continued to advance his knowledge and skill in a General Practice Residency, where he had extensive training with children at the University Medical Center in Fresno. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Sacramento District Dental Society. Dr. Juarez enjoys working at the Stockton office and meeting new patients and their families. When not at the office, Dr Juarez loves spending time with his family, working out at the gym, traveling and home improvement projects. He recently welcomed the birth of a baby girl and is loving being a dad.

Dr. Annabell Atienza (Stockton)
Dr. Atienza received her B.S. in psychology from the University of the Philippines in 1982. She moved on to graduate school and majored in counseling. She pursued further studies at the same university where she was conferred the Degree in Dentistry in 1988. Dr. Atienza was licensed in California in 1994 and has practiced in the Stockton area since that time. She loves working with children of all ages from 1 to 99! She volunteers by providing dental screening and education at Headstart and other Stockton pre-school and grade schools. Foremost, Dr. Atienza is a supermom to four kids. She loves to cook, bike, read and spend time w/ family and friends.

Dr. Jeffrey McComb (Sacramento and Elk Grove)
Dr. Jeff McComb attended CSU, Chico for his undergraduate degree in Biology. While visiting his brother in dental school (now a general dentist in Elk Grove) his interest in pursuing a career in dentistry was peaked, and he couldn't be happier as a dentist.  Dr. McComb is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Sacramento District Dental Society. He graduated from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2007 where he met his wife who is also a dentist. He loves interacting with children and is excited to be a member of our team. When he's not practicing, Dr. McComb enjoys playing golf and losing to his wife, tennis and winning over his wife, and pretty much any other sport or outdoor activity.  Dr. McComb and his wife make an annual dental mission trip to the Philippines, where they provide free dental care to the underprivileged.

Dr. Aaron Irvin (Sacramento and Elk Grove)
Dr. Irvin, a native of the Sacramento area, graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry
in San Francisco in 2003. After dental school he served for three years as dental officer in the US Air Force. Dr Irvin is always looking to learn about the "latest and greatest" and since graduating he has continued to advance his knowledge in the profession through various continuing education opportunities. He currently holds membership in each of the following:  the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Sacramento District Dental Society. Dr Irvin loves working with the excellent staff at the Kids Care Dental Group and enjoys treating children of all ages. He loves to engage in many different activities including football, basketball, camping, and snowboarding but as a father of two sons he especially enjoys spending time with his family.  Dr. Irvin is currently trying to improve his Spanish speaking skills. He also loves music and enjoys playing guitar.

Dr. Erin Carson (Elk Grove and Greenback)
Dr. Erin Carson received her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology at University of California Los Angeles. She graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency where she was awarded most outstanding resident. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is currently working on obtaining fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Carson married last summer and moved to the Sacramento area. When not practicing dentistry she is spending time with her husband working on their home and taking her energetic puppy on long walks.
 

Dr. Mark Macaoay (Sacramento)
Mark C. Macaoay graduated from University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Naval Dental Center, San Diego and served for three years as a general practitioner in the United States Navy. He currently works as an assistant professor in the Restorative Department at University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. He enjoys martial arts, bicycling and playing Guitar Hero with his niece, Alyssa.

Dr. Ryan Grandpre (Elk Grove and Greenback)
Dr. Grandpre recieved his BS in physiology from UC Davis and his DDS from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. After graduating dental school, he joined the United States Navy where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and served as a dental officer aboard the nuclear aircraft carrier USS Nimitz. He then returned home to join the dental community here in Sacramento, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Dr. Grandpre loves helping our patients with their dental care and strives to make their visits to Kids Care a fun experience. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. When away from the practice, he enjoys playing poker, scuba diving, snowboarding, and hanging out with his family.

Dr. Jeffrey Kwong (Elk Grove)
Dr Jeffrey Kwong - Orthodontist (Elk Grove) Dr. Kwong is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He earned his Dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2004. He remained at Case Western Reserve University to complete his Orthodontic specialty training in 2007, where he gratefully received the clinical award at his graduation. As native of Toronto, Canada, Dr. Kwong has earned his specialist board certification from both the American Board of Orthodontics and the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Since 2004, Dr. Kwong has done his utmost to make his patients happy and provide them with quality care and a beautiful smile. Prior to moving to Sacramento, Dr. Kwong worked in a private Orthodontic practice in Toronto. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, the California Dental Association and the Sacramento District Dental Society. When he is not seeing patients, he enjoys watching movies, staying fit, experimenting with different kinds of cuisine, traveling, and he has yet to outgrow video games.

Dr. Darin Nakamura (Elk Grove and Stockton)
Dr. Darin Nakamura is a 3rd generation dentist who grew up in Stockton, where he attended Lincoln High School. He went on to the University of California, Berkeley where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Entomology. Shortly thereafter he crossed the bay to attend the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he earned his D.D.S. degree. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Joaquin Dental Society. Dr. Nakamura’s passions include studying and teaching people about bugs, playing with toy trains, traveling, working on cars and computers and taking pictures…as you can see, he is just a big kid at heart. When he is not playing, Dr. Nakamura devotes most of his time to his wife and family.
 

Dr. Jennifer Ryan (Folsom)
Dr. Jennifer Ryan grew up in the Bay Area, where she graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in psychology.  She received her DDS degree with highest honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1997, where she was awarded the Charles Sweet Award for clinical excellence in the treatment of children.  Dr. Ryan completed a three-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco and received both her pediatric dentistry specialty certificate and a master's degree in Oral Biology in 2000.  Dr. Ryan believes that all cavities are preventable, and strives to provide parents with the knowledge to prevent cavities in their own children.  Her philosophy of care is to treat every child the way she would want her own children treated.  Dr. Ryan was in private practice in pediatric dentistry in Roseville for eight years, and is excited about working with the Folsom team.  She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.  Dr. Ryan and her husband, Donal, an anesthesiologist with C.A.S.E. Medical Group, both enjoy staying home part-time to care for their 3 young children, Connor, Taryn, and Lachlan.  She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, reading, running with her yellow lab Finn, and photography.  She volunteers at her children's school and helps lead her daughter's Girl Scout troop.

Dr. Justin Salisbury (Folsom and Greenback)
Dr. Salisbury attended the University of Washington in Seattle for his undergraduate education and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia for dental school.  He then completed a pediatric dental residency at Children’s Hospital Boston and a clinical fellowship at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Salisbury is very excited to be living in sunny California after many cold winters on the East Coast. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Sacramento District Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Salisbury enjoys running (he completed his first marathon in 2009) and taking road trips.

Dr. Patrick So (Stockton)
Dr. So attended UC San Diego for his undergraduate degrees in Animal Neuroscience/Physiology and Communications. He obtained both his dental degree and specialty training in pediatric dentistry from New York University College of Dentistry and Bellevue Hospital. He has received several honors and awards for his clinical skills and commitment to public service.  Dr. So loves working with kids and is excited to be a part of the Stockton office.  He is passionate about community service activities and has done dental several mission trips in Alaska, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Tanzania.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  On his free time, Dr. So enjoys spending time with his friends and family and travelling to new places.

Dr. Brian Crawford (Elk Grove)
Dr.  Brian Crawford is a native of Northern California.  He grew up in San Jose and attended San Jose State University before entering dental school at the University of Louisville.  While in dental school, Dr. Crawford received a very highly sought after Air Force scholarship and after graduating served three years in the Air Force.  After an honorable discharge from the military; Dr Crawford entered private practice in Roseville as a general dentist. During that time he was doing more and more orthodontics. He decided that orthodontics was the most enjoyable part of his day and after 5 years of general dentistry applied for an orthodontic residency. He was accepted and graduated from the University of Colorado at the top of his class. Dr Crawford, his wife, and two children live in Lincoln, CA where he started his own orthodontic practice in 2007. He enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, playing golf and currently helps coach middle school wrestling.  He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Society, California Dental Association and the Sacramento District Dental Society.

Dr. Candy McComb (Greenback)
Dr Candy is blessed to come from a very diverse family and background.  She is one of five children born and raised in the Philippines to a Chinese father and Caucasian mother.  She came to the United States when she was twenty years old to finish college and pursue a career in dentistry.  While attending the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, she met her husband, Dr. Jeff McComb (another one of our great doctors)Not only did she get her DDS degree……but she became a wife as well!  After graduating from dental school and finishing a general practice residency in Palo Alto, she started working in a pediatric dental practice.  It was there that she fell in love with working with kids and she knew right away that that was her future. She has such enthusiasm for what she does and it can be felt through quotes like “When I can make dental treatment enjoyable for a child, I feel so blessed in return!  I think the most rewarding part is knowing that you are helping them develop a lifetime of dental health. I love what I do and hope to do it for many more years! ”  Candy and Jeff were lucky enough to welcome little Corban James into the world this past year. She can’t help talking about her little one, “Children are truly a gift from God and we look forward to hopefully having 2 more….if time ever permits outside of raising a family, working, and being involved in our church and community”.   Like Jeff, she enjoys playing golf and traveling.  

Dr. Gary Lau - Orthodontist (Stockton)
Dr. Gary Lau is a Northern California native attended UC Davis and earned his B.S. in biochemistry while working in the biotech industry researching Parkinson’s disease.  Although this research had great purpose, he wanted more direct interaction with patients.   This led him to pursue the field of dentistry and the specialty field of orthodontics.  As Chief Orthodontic Resident at the UCLA, he earned the praise of his instructors and patients alike.  He believes that creating beautiful smiles can increase a patient’s self confidence and positively affect his or her entire life.  In his free time, Dr. Lau enjoys spending time with family, exercising, and playing tennis and basketball.  He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association. 

Dr. Paolo Poidmore - Orthodontist (Folsom)
Dr . Poidmore is a Sacramento-area native and graduate of Jesuit High School.  After completing four years of undergraduate studies, four years of dental training, and 3 years of orthodontic training, Dr. Poidmore returned to his home town to start his career.  He received his dental degree from the University of Southern California in 2006, and received his orthodontic specialty at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.  Upon graduation, Dr. Poidmore returned home to begin his career. In his free time, Dr. Poidmore enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing golf, snowboarding, working out, cooking, attending sporting events, and eating homemade Italian food.
